  • In one of the most beautiful and diverse regions of the country, in the western area of ​​the Bükk region - between the mountains - the Lillafüred light railway rumbles, departing from Miskolc on Dorottya Street.

  • The Bükki Csillagda, an astronomical and nature education visitor centre of the Bükki National Park Directorate, opened on 8th March 2022, located in the heart of the Bükki National Park, near Répáshuta.

In the permanent exhibition, renewed in 2005, the general public can become acquainted with the history of Hungarian fine art from the 1700s to the mid-20th century through its prestigious works.

  • Miskolc's city centre preserves the atmosphere of the historic old town, and its central axis is Széchenyi István Street, which locals often simply call the Main Street.

  • The Sacred Heart of Jesus rock chapel in Miskolctapolca is located on Brassói Street and is one of the district's built monuments with a particularly special atmosphere. The chapel was created from interconnected cave passages, so even its interior offers quite a different experience from that of a traditional church.

The obstacle courses set up among the trees welcome visitors at different difficulty levels, from the easier blue course to the more challenging red and black courses.

  • The Miskolctapolca bobsled track is located near the Boating Lake and the Cave Bath, in a shady, forested setting. The roughly 850-metre-long alpine track operates all year round, so the thrill of the ride can be enjoyed regardless of the season.
