The Kikelet Club Hotel is not an ordinary hotel.
It's more of a story. A family story that started long before we opened the hotel in Miskolctapolca in 2000.
The roots lead back to the elder Imre Ostorházi, who lived and created in the hospitality industry for decades. With passion, maximalism – and that kind of natural hospitality that cannot be taught.
A key stage in his work was the Avasi Beer House, which became memorable for many thanks to its distinctive, Bavarian-inspired atmosphere and unique approach to hospitality.
This legacy was carried forward when he and his wife conceived the Kikelet. From the outset, the Kikelet Club Hotel was therefore not merely a hotel, but the realisation of a family vision: a place where hospitality is not just a service, but attention, presence, and heartfelt care.
Renewed, but with the same heart
In 2025, we completely renewed ourselves. More refined spaces, a more cohesive atmosphere, more modern rooms – but we didn't touch one thing: what makes Kikelet Kikelet. The family atmosphere. The personal attention. That feeling of being welcome here. We didn't want to start a new story – but to continue the old one, in a modern form.
We are carrying on today
Today, this story is carried on by us, Imre Ostorházi Jr. and Renáta Ostorházi. We are personally present in the everyday life of Kikelet, because we believe that true hospitality is born from closeness, attentiveness, and sincere care. Because we believe that hospitality doesn't work from afar.
What we want you to feel
When you arrive, we want you to feel like you're stepping into more than just a hotel.
