A

Guests can dine à la carte in our restaurant on the ground floor every day between 12:00 and 21:00. The last order is taken 60 minutes before closing.

You can occupy your room from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

In Miskolctapolca there is an OTP ATM at 3519 Miskolctapolcai út 1.

The hotel bar is located on the ground floor and is open every day from 7:00 in the morning to 21:00 in the evening.

A bathrobe can be rented at reception for a fee of HUF 1,000 / piece. Room slippers can be purchased for HUF 1,000 / pair. Please contact the hotel reception. In case of loss of a bathrobe, a penalty of HUF 10,000 / bathrobe is payable.

You will find the room towels and the bath mat set out in your bathroom. If you would like a towel change, please drop the used ones on the bathroom floor.

We change towels daily on request. For requests other than this, we charge HUF 1,000 per person. For hygiene reasons, it is strictly forbidden to take hotel textiles out of the hotel! Guests bear full financial responsibility for permanent damage caused to the textiles. In case of loss, a penalty of HUF 8,000 / towel is payable.

Bed linen is changed once a week, in order to protect our environment and preserve its long-term sustainability. If you need your bed linen changed daily, please contact the hotel reception. The fee for an extra change of bed linen is HUF 2,500 / person.

If you need an extra blanket / pillow, please contact the hotel reception.

We await you with a rich buffet breakfast, which can be enjoyed in the ground-floor restaurant every day of the week between 7:00 and 10:00. Breakfast may not be taken out of the restaurant!

From Miskolctapolca you can reach the centre of Miskolc by bus number 20. You can find the current timetable on the website of MVK Zrt.

Our hotel’s bus parking is located in front of the building and is suitable for parking both smaller and larger buses.

Discounted Cave Bath tickets can be purchased at our hotel reception. Please ask at reception about current prices. (Temporarily closed due to renovation works.)

For the safety of our guests, a CCTV camera system operates in the communal areas of our building, in the car park and on the external street fronts.

You can occupy your booked room from 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you wish, a receptionist will show you the way. Earlier arrival, subject to availability, is possible between 11:00 and 15:00 for a fee of HUF 10,000 per room, after prior arrangement.

The hotel room can only be occupied after the digital recording of photo IDs, which guests confirm with their signature.

We provide the following items on request. If needed, please contact the hotel reception.

We carry out daily cleaning between 8:00 and 14:00. If you do not want cleaning on a given day, please use the card provided for this purpose that can be hung on the outer door handle. If you need extra cleaning, please let reception know.

For guests travelling early or arriving late, we provide a cold packed meal instead of the meal. Please let reception know of this request no later than 20:00 the previous evening.

Shower gel and shampoo, as well as liquid soap, are available to guests in the room.

On request, we provide a cot free of charge for guests arriving with children. Please contact our reception colleagues. A cot, a baby bedding set, a baby bath, a potty, a step stool, a toilet-seat reducer, a high chair, a kettle and a booster seat are available on request.

We accept Visa / Mastercard / Maestro cards.

We are an OTP, MKB and K&H SZÉP card acceptance point.

The hotel cleans the room once a day between 8:00 and 14:00. If, during this period, those cleaning the room find a “Do not disturb” sign on the outer door handle, the room will not be cleaned, and therefore the guest cannot claim a price reduction or compensation.

We would like to draw our guests’ attention to the fact that, for environmental reasons, the hotel changes only the towels placed on the bathroom floor.

Individual guests, groups and event participants alike must vacate the room by 10:00 in the morning. On the day of departure you can request an extension of the use of the hotel room, which we provide for a fee subject to availability; please contact our reception with such a request. On departure, please hand in the room cards at reception.

You can settle your bill as early as the morning of departure, or even the evening before, thus avoiding the inconvenience of waiting.

In the interest of guests’ peace, on the hotel premises after 22:00 — except for events or programmes organised or authorised by the hotel — noise-making, playing music, activities involving noise or din, sound effects, and watching television or listening to the radio at a disturbing volume in the room, etc. are prohibited. Regardless of the time of day, any conduct or behaviour on the hotel premises that disturbs the peace, safety, sense of security or privacy of others; that constitutes or may constitute harassment; and that is capable of intimidating others is prohibited. A hotel employee is entitled to warn a disruptive and/or noisy guest. The first warning is free of charge; for the second and third warnings the hotel charges HUF 5,000 each to the room bill of the warned guest. After the third warning, the hotel is entitled to terminate the hotel contract unilaterally and with immediate effect, and to expel the guest from the hotel without delay and without any obligation to refund and/or compensate. The hotel excludes its liability for any harm caused by the guest’s conduct to another guest.

If you do not want to be disturbed in your room, please hang out the card provided for this purpose on the wardrobe.

To call the doctor on duty and the ambulance service, please ask reception for assistance.

Please always arrive with valid travel documents; the hotel accepts no responsibility for any inconvenience arising from this.

We ask our guests to observe general dress-code rules. In the hotel’s catering units and at meals, wearing attire appropriate to the occasion is expected.

If guests need soft drinks or alcoholic drinks, they can buy them in the restaurant between 7:00 in the morning and 21:00 in the evening. Alcoholic drinks are not served to guests under the age of 18 in the hotel!

A modern duvet and blanket in good condition can be found in every room; an extra blanket can be requested at reception on request.

The mains voltage is 220 Volts. Please insert your room card into the card slot next to the door, thereby activating the room’s power supply.

Littering is strictly forbidden on the hotel premises! Please place waste in the containers designated for this purpose. Please protect the plants and bushes on the hotel grounds. Do not break or cut off their branches or shoots. If they bother you, please tell reception. Please do not trample the saplings. It is forbidden to drive nails into the trees or to pour food scraps or polluting substances onto the plants. Digging ditches or pits, even temporarily, is not permitted.

Our hotel uses plant-based, professional cleaning products.

Smoking is only possible in the designated area. Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.

Please dress appropriately for the occasion in the various areas of our hotel, which we thank you for in advance.

Parents are responsible for their children; please do not disturb the rest of others.

In the interest of undisturbed relaxation, we expect civilised behaviour from our guests.

If you need an extra pillow, please contact our reception colleagues.

Powder fire extinguishers and fire hoses are placed on every floor of the hotel. In case of fire, please find the nearest emergency exit according to the escape route posted in the room and leave the hotel as soon as possible.

For flower orders, please contact reception.

Please ask at reception. We keep found items at reception for one month; thank you for your understanding! If you find an item, please report it at reception. The hotel destroys food, food-type items and medicines. If the rightful owner of the found item comes forward, they may collect the item upon presentation of an identity document and signature, and against reimbursement of the costs incurred for its safekeeping.

Guests under the age of 18 may use the hotel’s services only accompanied by a parent or with the written permission of a parent. The child’s companions are responsible for the child’s safety and for any damage caused by the child. On the hotel premises and at its events, persons under the age of 18 may not consume alcohol. The parent of the person under 18, or a person of legal capacity designated by them, is obliged to ensure compliance with / enforcement of this obligation. The parent, or the person of legal capacity designated by them, bears full responsibility for the legal, moral and financial consequences of breaching this obligation.

The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, which can be used free of charge. It is forbidden to take the hairdryer out of the hotel room or to remove it. In case of its absence, we charge a fee of HUF 30,000.

The rich buffet breakfast can be enjoyed between 7:00 and 10:00, and the buffet dinner between 18:00 and 20:00, in our hotel restaurant.

For hygiene reasons, food may not be taken out of the restaurant; thank you for your understanding.

Our rooms are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning; you can set the desired temperature according to your individual needs. The air conditioning only works if the door/window in the room is closed.

The hotel’s communal rooms are tempered according to the outside weather.

Miskolctapolca is located in the valley of the Hejő stream, rich in natural beauty, in the eastern part of the Bükk mountains. For questions about hiking routes, please ask our colleagues at reception for information.

The guest is obliged to use the hotel’s equipment and furnishings as intended and to preserve the integrity of their material assets. The guest is obliged to reimburse damage arising from improper use at the hotel’s request, but no later than before departure. For damage caused through negligence or possibly in an intoxicated state, the hotel charges a special compensation fee. The hotel’s furnishings and equipment may only be taken off the hotel premises with the hotel’s prior written permission. Any rearrangement of the hotel room or placement of furniture may only be carried out by a hotel employee or their designated representative. Taking a hotel item away without the hotel’s prior written permission constitutes a criminal offence, and in that case the hotel takes the necessary criminal and civil law steps. The guest is obliged to report any malfunction of any of the hotel’s equipment or furnishings to the hotel. The guest is not entitled to repair the fault themselves or to attempt to repair it. The hotel excludes liability for damage arising from this; it is borne by the guest who caused the damage.

Our colleagues are happy to be at your disposal at reception 24 hours a day.

We provide free WiFi throughout the hotel for guests. The network name is “KikeletClubHotel”, which you can connect to without entering a password.

Please let reception know of your ironing request. On request, we provide an iron and an ironing board in the room.

During the daily cleaning, our colleagues refill the consumed coffee and tea on request.

In the interest of our guests’ peace, please avoid using the lift between 22:00 and 06:00 where possible. The maximum load capacity of the lift is 300 kg. In case of a problem, please use the bell in the lift! We will help immediately.

In case of fire, using the lift is prohibited!

The room’s electricity is activated by the key card; please insert it into the holder placed on the wall.

Please ask at reception about lost property. We keep found items at reception for one month; thank you for your understanding! If you find an item, please report it at reception.

On the day of arrival and departure, we store your luggage in a safe place on request.

The receptionist is happy to assist guests with transporting luggage. Please feel free to contact them.

You will find daily newspapers and weekly and monthly magazines at reception. Please bring the newspapers back after reading them.

Nordic walking poles are provided by our reception colleagues free of charge. Please return the poles to reception after use.

Our guests can park free of charge, subject to availability, in the open, camera-monitored car park in front of and behind the hotel.

We do not accept pets in our hotel.

The room safe is located on the wardrobe shelf. You will find the instructions for use next to the safe. You can use the safe with your own security code. Please store your valuables and jewellery only here. We accept responsibility only for valuables handed in at reception.

A room safe is available in every room, where you can store your valuables. There is a central safe at reception; the hotel accepts responsibility only for valuables handed in at reception and placed in the safe.

The sauna section is located on the ground floor and can be used free of charge. An infrared sauna (between 10:00 and 20:00) and a Finnish sauna (between 16:00 and 20:00) await our guests every day.

Please do not leave your valuables unattended. Always lock your room door when you leave!

If needed, we provide a sewing kit to guests free of charge at the hotel reception. For further information, please contact the hotel reception.

A shoe-cleaning machine is available to guests 24 hours a day in the reception foyer. If you need assistance, please contact reception. Shoe-care products can be requested at reception.

The optimal room temperature can vary individually and depending on the activity in the room, between 18 and 23 degrees, with the right humidity — making sure the air is neither too dry nor too humid. A room that is too warm is not ideal for sleeping and can lead to sweating, restless sleep and frequent waking. The optimal setting for a hotel room is generally 21–22 degrees. It is undoubtedly easier to cool a warm room by opening a window than to slowly warm up a cold one. Female guests generally require a higher temperature than men.

A prerequisite for a good night’s sleep is the ability to darken the room; the best solution is to darken the room completely with blackout curtains or shutters.

Clean, soft, fresh-smelling bed linen greatly contributes to the guest’s well-being. At the same time, it is important that we achieve this with as little and as suitable a detergent as possible, thus also taking environmental considerations into account.

Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside the hotel! It is only permitted in the designated area. The hotel’s employees are entitled to warn guests, as well as any other person on the hotel premises, to comply with this rule and to stop smoking or using electronic cigarettes.

Guests who smoke or use electronic cigarettes inside the hotel or in the room will be charged an extra cleaning fee of HUF 50,000 / room.

Guests on half board can choose from several menus every day.

Please inform us of any food allergies, diets or special dietary requirements already at the time of booking. It may be that we can only provide the requested special meals for an additional fee.

Only guests registered at reception may stay in the hotel rooms. The guest is responsible for the conduct of their visitor — including any damage. The hotel excludes liability for damage caused by a visitor to the guest and/or a third party. For guests exceeding the number stated in the booking, the hotel charges the rack rate per night. For the safety of our guests, a CCTV camera system operates in the communal areas of our building, in the car park and on the external street fronts.

Our wellness section is located on the ground floor and is free for our hotel guests. A whirlpool, an outdoor jacuzzi and the infrared sauna (10:00–20:00) and Finnish sauna (16:00–20:00) are available to guests. The Finnish sauna can be used by prior booking. Please let reception know of your request.

  • Using the shower before and after using the jacuzzi and sauna is mandatory.
  • A security camera system operates in the wellness area.
  • Children up to the age of 10 may only stay in the pool area with a parent or under supervision.
  • Guests may use the wellness area only at their own risk.
  • We accept no responsibility for valuables left in the wellness area or placed on the chairs.
  • Safekeeping can be requested at reception.
  • The wellness area may only be entered wearing slippers.
  • Only bathing in a swimsuit is permitted in the jacuzzi.
  • In the saunas, you may only sit on the bath sheets placed on the bench.
  • Wearing a swimsuit is mandatory for infants and children as well.
  • The use of shower gel, bubble bath or any other foam-forming product in the pools is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
  • You may only enter the pool at the designated place.
  • Jumping into the pools, running in the pool area or moving about in a way that risks accidents is not allowed. We accept no responsibility for accidents arising from this.
  • In order to protect the health and physical integrity of persons using the wellness services, the wellness area may not be used by persons with infectious diseases, persons in a convulsive state, persons with open wounds, or intoxicated persons.
  • The use of glass drink bottles and glass tumblers is strictly forbidden in the pool areas.
  • Using the sauna while intoxicated is PROHIBITED!
  • It is forbidden to bring foreign substances into the saunas! (e.g. honey, salt)
  • The wellness area may only be used in compliance with the house rules.

Writing materials and a notepad are available at reception on request. Letter paper and an envelope can be found on the desk in the room.
