Hikes in the BükkMiskolctapolca – Kisgyőr (Holy Crown Lookout)

Forest, undulating asphalt — you ride from the Kikelet Club Hotel to the Holy Crown Lookout in Kisgyőr, where the southern range of the Bükk opens up before you. In 2025 the route came second in the Cycle Route of the Year competition. It's worth stopping in Kisgyőr, the village of woodcarvers: on the houses and gates you can spot a whole array of carved motifs — everyday village life up close. The road is well maintained, protected from traffic, and enjoyable even at a relaxed pace. If you're just getting to know the Bükk, this is the best first step.
