Ellipsum Experience and Beach Bath

Nestled in the embrace of the Bükk National Park, in Miskolctapolca, in the valley of the baths, the Ellipsum Adventure and Open-Air Bath welcomes its guests, taking its unusual name from its five ellipse-shaped buildings.

Spanning more than seven thousand square metres, the impressive halls – forming separate yet interconnected units – guarantee carefree relaxation for adults, teens and young children 365 days a year.

Open in all four seasons, the adventure bath offers 3 bathing halls – each themed by age group – 6 indoor and 2 outdoor pools, 3 giant slides and countless further water attractions to serve every single minute of an eventful bathing experience.

Tapolca lido

The open-air bath is set in a natural environment embraced by plane trees, spanning nearly 22,000 square metres, and welcomes those looking to relax from May to September.

The family adventure pool is the perfect choice for those arriving with children, while guests who want to swim can take a dip in the 50-metre swimming pool. Relaxing in the adventure and massage pools of the wellness area in the main building, or in its sauna park, you can feel the closeness of nature and admire the picturesque beauty of the Bükk landscape all at once. The open plunge pools located atop the sauna cones offer unparalleled refreshment, as does the wide selection of massages available on site. The volleyball and footvolley courts in the bath's park provide pleasant relaxation, while the fitness area welcomes sports lovers with the latest generation of cardio and strength machines.

Cave Bath

A bathing spot unique in Europe, a true treasure of nature. Over millennia, the water carved out the cave hollows from the limestone rock. Bathing is an unparalleled experience in this natural indoor pool, in the pleasantly warm water rising from deep within the mountain.

A curiosity of this bathing spot is that the indoor pools form a veritable cave labyrinth, where you can enjoy the pleasant massage of the wild-water current and admire the unusual shapes of this natural formation.

The bathing spot has several special halls that turn the indoor units into an adventure bath. These include the Star Hall, the Bridge Hall, the Bathing Hall and the Old Cave Pool.

For traditional summer beach-going, the bath offers a nearly 3.6-hectare landscaped lido area and park, where you'll find three children's pools, the Lake Bath, the Shell Pool and the Swimming Pool.

Selyemrét open-air bath

The Selyemrét Open-Air Bath is the city's first open-air bath and, with its many pools and slides, is an ideal destination for families. Since July 2013, the open-air bath has welcomed those wishing to bathe, swim and enjoy the beach in its renewed state, across its 2.5-hectare landscaped grounds.

The bath's water supply is provided by 2 high-yield thermal wells, drawing from karst water.

In the bath complex you can splash to your heart's content in the hydro-massage pool and the 3-lane slide pool. You can swim in the 50-metre or the 25-metre teaching pool.
You can relax in the seated jacuzzi pool, while a children's pool fitted with fun play features awaits the little ones.

For those looking to enjoy some wellness, the bath offers a 15-person lava-stone Finnish sauna.
