The surroundings of Miskolc

During history, Miskolc became a large city because it was situated at the crossing of roads. Therefore it is easy to reach every direction. If we leave in the Northern direction, we can reach Szilvásvárad in 40 minutes, the Aggtelek dripstone cave within an hour, and when crossing the border our way leads to the ice cave of Dobsina. Leaving in the North-Eastern direction, by a one-hour car drive one can reach Kosice, in 40 minutes the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region, and within an hour Sárospatak. After a 40-minute drive to the South, you can relax at the Zsóry Thermal Spa in 40 minutes. In the Western direction, our destination may be Eger.
